Local Service Centers:No DeLorean only service centers exist in Northern California. Local service is a difficult and touchy issue for our owners. Local reliable sources can be found for engine work or AC service because the the DeLorean's B28F engine is common in other cars. The AC, brakes and suspension are fairly straightforward. But for DeLorean specific areas, like the doors, most electrical devices and the complicated fuel system are best left to experts in the car. Nothing is worse than having someone 'make do' on repairs to components that they do not properly understand. This list is not an endorsement of these shops nor should the NCDMC be held responsible if you do not receive proper service (sorry, we gotta say all that). If you know of more shops that will work on DeLoreans in Northern California, please let us know so that they may be added to the list.
In the Bay Area:
Dietsh Werks is a Lotus shop and has extensive experence on our cars. However, they will only work on them if they have time and they are usually very backlogged. Expect long turnaround times. See the web site: http://www.dietschwerks.net/
